MAIN VERSE.

This verse is set after the events of the Hulu adaptation. Serena is living within a refugee camp with her son Noah, who is a few months old. She has no one and no sense of power, just another body within the camp, seeking refuge from Gilead.

PER SEASON.

This is several different verses, essentially a spot and place to explore Serena throughout the seasons of the show up to the ending of the sixth season. This can be as early as the very first episode of season one or even right at the very beginning of Gilead. Rather than write out a vague verse for all six seasons, I chose to lump them into one space.

PRE-GILEAD.

This verse explores Serena's life within Boston before Gilead rose to power. This can be around the time that she was writing and on her book tour or even during the Sons of Jacobs' rise to power as they overthrew the government before Gilead was formed.
